| December 29, 2007 | I think I got it, I think I've finally figured out how I'm going to link this blog with my homepage. I'm going to go back to using both of my web publishing programs. That will allow me and to open this in a window within my web page. I'm still thinking about getting me a program that will actually allow me to run this blog on my homepage as opposed to hosting it
there and linking to it here. Of course I would be an awful lot of work and require some knowledge I just do not as yet possess. Any way after I post this I will begin working on my new blog page I will also do some research on how I can host the blog where I'm at. So please be patient with me I haven't forgotten about you. And in return for your patients with me I will reward you with one of my beautiful photographs

Ok so I did it again, I left this blog alone for a very
long time. I would say I'm sorry but that would mean I would try not to
let it happen again. That just not the way I do things :) Hey someone
actually responded to my poll question, cool. So I haven't figured out how
I'm going to integrate this into my web page but I'm still working on it.
the issue is that I am using a program to build my web site but it has
it's limits and I do too. I want to have it open in a window inside my web
site so visitors don't have to leave to come here. I did it with front
page. it seem to not be an option with Web Easy. Well work is hard but
going well and I am kinda in the dumps but I can get through it. My rent
is going up and I'm not ready for it and I don't have the money to move
but I'm sure I'll get something going. I can afford the new rent but I may
have to drop some of my perks :( So anyway I read somewhere that a girl
made a webpage to try to raise money to pay her bills, I would never do
that, but I might put up a pay pal button (is that the same thing?) |

Well with the move from Gwillie.com to GeoBent.com one of
my favorite features had been lost The E-George Update. Well I'm now
working to restore this feature and this is it. I sure hopes it works. George. |
| July 1, 2007 |
Today I am at last rebuilding my website this is my new e-George update I know so many of you have missed my (cough) frequent (cough) updates. So I am happy to comeback and get right to work. Now in case you haven’t heard I am a blogger now, my blog is at geobent.blogspot.com I have been really good at keeping this blog up posting almost every day on all thing political. Go ahead and check it out and let me know what you think. Comment on my blog please :) |
| May 15, 2007 | Is Gwillie.com for sale? Well no, but some
guy just asked me and I sent him a price (probably way to high) I'm too
deep in debt to not try. Any way if this page changes owners don't be sad,
I'm outta debt :) If not, don't be sad because I'll get out of debt sooner
or latter anyway, and now for other news... have you seen my new blog? I
have been keeping it up almost every day, I like the fact that this has
forced me to be a bit more disciplined. I really would like to get
more readers there so please visit and I would not mind if some here would
like to post on my blog. Just ask I'll set it up. |
| April 20, 2007 | Shame on Harry Reid... What an evil hateful man. To
declare our defeat in public can only be described as a betrayal of our
brave men and woman who are serving there and shows a complete disregard
for the sacrifices made by all of our servicemen and woman. The democrats
plan to hold the supplemental funding bill hostage, I think, is starting to haunt
them and yet they can't get past their radical hate of the President and
everything right of |

Today we stand on the edge of war, a wider war, world
war III. When I think of how this could have been stopped I know that the
chances to stop this war most likely past us by 20 some odd years ago when
we knew Iran had direct responsibility in the Lebanon barracks bombing and
we did nothing. After that all of our enemies tested us, pushed us, and we
held or wrath. Then 9/11 and we had to respond we did well, our enemy
backed off for a bit then they saw a weakness return. We don't see it as a
weakness and really it isn't but to our enemies they saw it as such.
Groups like ANSWER formed just days after 9/11 to fight any attempt to
show strength, at first they failed, but with time and with the constant
media attacks on our efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq (for partisan
political advantage) We began to question our response, we thought of ways
to lessen the negative impact on our enemies. To us it was a strength
showing thru we found compassion as a way to combat hate. But the hate
only grew and was emboldened by our compassion and soon that hate took
steps to use our compassion against us... as they turned their weapons
against their own people and then pointed our cameras to the carnage, we
turned our compassion to sympathy for the victims of this dreadful
violence... the enemy then took up the mantel of victimhood. He began to
fight where the cameras could see where the reporters could hear. Taping
and sending images of the death and destruction to CNN. The fact that
every night we find only calls for our surrender on the news now has put
us on the brink of a wider war. Emboldened,

| March 4, 2007 | My first post of the year comes in the 3rd
month... that's why I don't blog. But if you go to both my Flickr and
Youtube sites you will see that I have been busy keeping up with the many
support the troops rallies and stuff, mostly.
One of the main reasons I don't keep up with these pages is that I am doing a lot of posting on other blog (right wing) like Little Green Footballs and Hot Air and one that I actually meet the person who owns it Knowledge is Power. So in other news I got to drive to California last month to visit my mom and my aunt. Had fun and stuff like that. Too much cigarette smoke for me so I had to leave a day early :( I did get some of the pictures I took while I was in the Navy they are also on my flickr page. I got a new cannon power shot Camera I like it a lot so my flickr site has been getting more pictures as I get to experiment with it. I like these. I also took some pictures of me at work, with my new camera. While I was looking for an old memory card that I thought might work in this camera (it didn't) I found some other old pictures of me and my family that I also posted on flickr well worth the time to check out. You can also, if you like, see what I look like as I have posted lots of pictures of me there too. |
| December 4, 2006 | This edition of the E-George Update is a
another photo essay that's just a bit too big to run on the front page. I
don't like the empty front page however so I think I'll post a music video
here for you to enjoy :)
As a recovering alcoholic I some times need a reminder to help me know when I've had too much to drink. So this is a little photo essay I could use if I was still drinking. :) how to know when you've had too much to drink You think she is hot and you want to do her. You think Hitler is alive and you can prove it. Just one well placed shot and all you troubles will go away. Your drinks are bigger than you. well if you take note of these indicators you should be able to know when it's time to put down that last drink... |
| October 2nd 2006 | The Bad guys want to make you think America is
the threat.![]() They want you to think Our Troops are cold blooded murders, That is how
they see them They want to scare you To undermine our war efforts They use any and all Opportunities to undermine the US in every way.
They Lie, exaggerate, and blame the US for all the worlds’ ills. Then they
attack any attempt to set the record strait. All of our successes are minimized, all of our setback are headlined Well if we have to stand alone, we will do what must be done We live in a great Nation. A nation known for its Strength and Beauty We have great people who can step up when needed to lead us. Brave men and woman who will do what is needed to win. Please remember the hate that our soldiers faced after Vietnam they
will not face again
The Lies of the left have been exposed, Their hate rejected, and We Will not stand for it any longer. We have a voice this time and the enemy will not find comfort here Our men and women are brave and caring and deserve all of our support, unconditionally Our Strength is our regard for life, the light we share freely that
will shine through in the end.
Our Hope lies in the opportunity that will come to the children of our
enemies as the freedoms we hold dear come to them. Our Victory will come when the lies of our enemy are exposed by the light of truth |
| September 23,2006 | This edition is an important article I think all should read however it contains graphic images of death and may not be suitable for all readers. Please continue only if you are prepared to see the worst in humanity. If you're not prepared for the worst, below is some of the best.
Last chance to back out
well one more just incase

The Geneva Conventions states That the relationship between the "High Contracting Parties" (that’s us) and a non-signatory (that’s them), the party will remain bound until the non-signatory no longer acts under the strictures of the convention. Something like this. PFC Thomas Lowell Tucker and PFC Kristian Menchaca were ambushed and murdered. Their bodies mutilated and boobied trapped, all in clear violation of Geneva. The terrorist claim this was in retaliation for a rape and murder allegedly committed by members of they’re unit. This is not true because the crime was unknown until long after these war crimes against our soldiers. This is just 1 example of many. I thank God we have been able to keep our brave soldiers out of enemy hands. |
| June 24th 2006 | Well It is past time, once again, to share some of the news in my life... I am not really doing much these days, just hanging out and spending money I really can't afford to spend. You know just the same old stuff. I have some Ideals for my pages but not sure when I'll get around to trying them we'll see. I have a few comments about some of the recent news but you'll have to read on to see them :) Ok I'll start with the letting you know part from my last post... Yes I have been keeping up the house work (still not up to Felix Unger levels but not Oscar Madison anymore) and My car is "almost" spotless, However I am back to the drive thru dining, oh well, I hate dishes anyway. now it is time to get into the news... I know this happened a while back but at work I do a lot of thinking about random stuff and so... I was thinking about some recent history and I thought it was ironic that former President Carter didn’t get the Noble Peace Prize in the 70s as a snub to US power, and won it 30 years later for the same reason. I also find it sad that he didn’t even notice. I was thinking about the former president as it now seems we are about to engage in the war that Iran declared against us 30 years ago. How much of what we face today could have been prevented if we had a strong President at that time. When Ayatollah Khomeini ran the Islamic revolution from France, As the Russians moved into Afghanistan. As Islamic radicals assassinated Egypt’s President Mohamed Anwar al-Sadat. Many of those assassins became the foundation of Al-Qaida as we know it today. This is largely the time when radical Islam became the threat we face today. When Regan pulled out of Beirut. When Clinton forced Israel to reward the PLO with virtual statehood. When North Korea was given a "we trust you" deal by Carter. When Saddam was bribing his way into massive palaces while his people were suffering under sanctions. All of these added to the strength of the enemy we face today. Too late to change any of this so we must learn from it.. Those who oppose peace will use the trust of those who seek peace to prepare, then turn on those who thought they had gained peace. A lesson we should have learned from WWII? |

Jewel is about to release he newest CD "Goodbye Alice In Wonderland" It's been two long years but I heard the title track yesterday and I think it will be worth the wait. I think of her as one of the best singers ever. I updated my Jewel pages to include all I know about this new CD. Now for the rest of the news. My new puzzle is a little work of "art" I created when I was bored last week go ahead and check it out I think you'll get quite a laugh. I at last got around to starting a page on Flickr, it is a site that lets you post and share photos. It's easy to join and they don't spam you so why not give it a try. Flickr.com. With the new outlet I am again planning to start getting out to take more pictures. I know I have tried before but this time I mean it.... Really, I have been better at the little things. I have been keeping up my house work better, cooking more then eating out (for a lonely guy that's hard to do), and washing my car more often. So I just might be able to keep this promise. I'll let you know how well I did in my next post. |

What could this be... Am I really about to update my page? why yes I am :) I just finished adding Fiona Apple's new CD Extraordinary Machine to my Fiona Apple page. Check it out. An now for the news... I got promoted at work I flooded my apartment and I started a blog page at myspace.com. Well just 2 months after getting 1 big raise I got another, this was a big one too. It came with a promotion to lead in the paint shop. I had been lead before, but that was on night shift and didn't involve quite as much work. When they closed the night shift down I move to days. After a few months the lead quit. Taking his wife with him (companies should not have husbands and wives working together) well they didn't give me the job right away they gave it to another who had worked there longer than I. But he was just too stressed and then he blowup at the boss and so here I am . But I did deserve it Read a few lines from my performance evaluation. I think I should get this framed I also had a flood A pipe broke in my kitchen. I heard the water running but thought it was my upstairs neighbor taking a shower so I just went back to sleep, but after a bit I started to think that this was the longest shower I ever heard. After listening a little more closely I began to notice I could hear more splashing than normal, that’s when I decided it was time to check things out. I found over an inch of water in my kitchen, and my dining room carpet was soaked. I got my shop vacuum but it only holds about a gallon of water. I would have to say I dumped it at least 100 time. I’m not joking, lots of water. I started at 5am and kept at it for about 2 1/2 hours. I gave up, my carpet was still wet, the apartment maintenance man called a service, they came at about 9am. I managed to save my furniture and all of my stuff. I had to stay away for a few days while the cleaners dried out my apt. The downstairs apt got flooded too but no one lives there. I think the manager was upset that they couldn't show it for another week. Oh well, I guess they'll buy me better pipes next time Lastly I stared a blog on myspace.com I found it to be quite fun to click around check out all the people who hangout there. A lot of them are musicians who are looking to get noticed. I found more than a few worth noticing. |
| August 28,2005 | Well Some of you may have noticed I have a few broken links on my site. I'm sorry I have taken so long to address this issue, but what happened was that my ISP updated their server and in the process broke my links. It wasn't me really! :-[ Well anyway, it just seemed like a lot so much in fact I even thought about redoing my whole site. It was this planning that delayed my repairing of this site. Well I'm not redoing the whole thing after all but I do have a few changes in mind. Ok so the first and most drastic change will be in my forum page where for now I'll just remove it but when it comes back It will be my Video Blog and then you guys get to see me what I really look like. I will no longer leave this to you wild imaginations, although some may think they were better of not knowing, I think you all really do want to know ;-) I will have to think on some of my other changes but I will keep you up to date. |
| January 16 2005 | I am back now for another long overdue
installment of the E-George Update. I have been up to my usual no good for
these last few months. I do however have sad news to report... My cat died
just before Christmas. Because of this loss I missed a few weekend of
counter protesting. I am back now, however, I even have a new bigger
USA Flag!!! I almost used to working days now, but I still do not have
time to do the thing I want to do. I just gotta work at making time. Like
that's gonna work ;-0. I have been getting better at doing the little
things I need to get done. Now I just gotta get motivated to get the big
things done :) I did want to say a bit about the resent news concerning
the hunt for WMDs in Iraq... I have to say I was wrong I was wrong, the
CIA was wrong British Intel was wrong, even the French were wrong. Yes
even the French were wrong! Yes they did believe that Iraq had WMDs It
seems that even Sadam thought he had WMDs. It seem most likely Sadam
wanted the world to be afraid of him and let these rumors persist even
when it was clear it was no longer in his best interest. It seem that when
all he was asked to do to prevent war as to let the truth be told he chose
to perpetuate the lie. I will say I am very disappointed that we did not
find any WMDs. I do however stand by my belief that the war was just and
necessary, That we are winning this war and that only Victory will insure
Peace. It is this belief that keeps me coming out each week to show my
support for our effort in spite of the personal attacks I face each week
from antiwar/anti-America activist. in fact I look forward to the
confrontations. When the best argument I get is "You're a moron" I
know I won the argument!!! |
| September 4, 2004 |
Well once again I have taken months to update these pages... Are you surprised? I guess you don't know me very well:-) This time however I was not being lazy (mostly) I really have been very busy. Now that I'm here, it's hard to think of any one thing I have done. One thing I did do was see John Kerry when he came to town...I helped to make sure he had a warm welcome... NOT!!! John Kerry came to our little town for a invite only town hall meeting with union members. I got off work early to watch as Kerry arrived (A motorcade is a sight to see). I wanted to let him know not everybody was going to vote for him. I made a sign to show as he arrived "If you can not stand the heat stay out of the 527s" as this was the time when he was demanding that President Bush stop the swift boat ads running against him, while using MoveOn.org and ACT pacs to supplement his own ad campaign. I did see Kerry briefly as his car pulled up. He was too far to see my sign on the way in but as he left I was much closer. I am sure some of his people saw my sign I included my web address and I did see a spike in visits to this site :) That is one of the bad things about being lazy and not updating my site. All they know about me is my best friend lives in Texas. (see archives) Oh well. Other things going on, I'm working days now. My schedule is all missed up but I'm getting used to it now. I have continued my efforts in support of our troops and even expanded. I have just gotten involved with ProtestWarriors.com, not as a member, but I have joined a few of their efforts. I have after all done similar things in the past, as noted on this web site. I did get my Sarah McLachlan webpage linked thru VH1 and that has also added a few hits to my pages I also have to up date my Sarah pages to include her new DVD and a new Live EP Some of you may have noticed a new page called "Around Here" you may have also noticed I have not updated this page... Well I promise I will soon... That's all for now come back soon :) |
| May 17, 2004 | Right now, has I type, I am sitting in Austin
Texas listening to a lady sing some bluegrass/jazz. Marilassa is her name
and she is not that bad, but I did not come all this way just to listen to
music. I am on my way to visit My best friend and help her have a great
birthday. I stopped on my way to spend some time with my mom in
Phoenix AZ. That was fun. We lost at bingo :( but winning is only half the
fun... the other half is not quite as fun :-P. T-Mobile is how I get to
connect while I'm away from home and keep up with all my e-mail. This is
all the news for now I'll write more when I get home P.S. Happy 21st birthday Marolyn !!!!...Again & Again & Again ect... |
| February 22, 2004 |
Ok so I have not been keeping up my pages... so what's new I never really do. It's always one thing our another. This is the latest news in my life... I sold my poor little car. I had to, the brakes were going bad. I didn't want to spend the money to fix it because my car would not pass the emissions test and there was no point of spending the money if I was going to have to get rid of it in a couple of months anyway. The guy I sold it to doesn't have to worry about emissions testing in his county. I am back to riding a bike now which is fine, I need the exercise anyway. I am still doing my part to support the war effort. I have just launched a new web site to help counter A.N.S.W.E.R.'s attacks on our efforts to fight terrorist. Please take a few minuets to visit march20stars.org I don't know if anyone will do what I was hoping, but just think of what that kind of message would send to the anti-war crowd who see the US as the aggressors, who want to see us surrender our interest to gain a peace of concession. History has shown you will have no real peace that way. If you reward acts of terror more acts follow because there are always more demands. Israel was on the verge of peace when the Palestinian began their 2nd Intifada, because there is always one more demand that must be met. The bombs in Israel will not stop until the terrorist have been defeated and the same holds true for us. A.N.S.W.E.R. knows this, yet they play this game that says we are the cause of the hate, we take and do not give back, we kill, we steal. To A.N.S.W.E.R. this is what America is. To A.N.S.W.E.R. we are what is wrong with the world. They have a distorted view of events when you see any small misstep made in the fog of war by the US is a war crime, yet when a terrorist paints a truck bomb like a ambulance to blow up the Red Cross that is justifiable resistance to occupation (a similar point was made to me by a lady from "not in our name") I like this quote by the President "By the victims they choose, and by the means they use, the terrorists have clarified the struggle we are in." It show we are in a fight to the death, one we did not choose, one we must win. Some say Iraq was a lie or at best a mistake, I say it was a step in the long battle towards peace we face. If we don't find weapons in Iraq (there is still a chance we may) we still did what was right and the cause of peace was served. |
